Hi, thanks for visiting my page.  I actually ran the half marathon yesterday but I couldn't locate the charity I wanted in time to set up this page so please sponsor me after the event instead!

My mum lives in Suffolk and was treated for skin cancer last year at Norwich hospital.  The surgeon, Mr Marc Moncrieff, used a revolutionary treatment, brought over from Australia, enabling the tumour to be targeted with chemotherapy without the side effects affecting the rest of the body.  As a result, on Friday she was told that the tennis ball-sized tumour has gone!  It could still reappear, however, which is why I want to raise money to help this fantastic centre continue to find new treatments and buy new equipment for detecting skin cancer.  Please give what you can!

The Skin Cancer Research Fund is part of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals charity and is dedicated to raising funds for the benefit of skin cancer patients at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.  We need your help to continue to provide equipment and support so our specialists can give patients even better care.

Your support can help in many ways from genetic testing kits to purchasing equipment.

Equipment,  like the revolutionary Confocal Microscope, which would allow rapid diagnosis of skin cancer by simply scanning the skin rather than resorting to surgery and waiting days for results.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
