Big Change
Big Change has a fundamental belief in the UK’s young people. They’re our priority, our passion, and our inspiration. And everything we do is designed to help them be the very best version of themselves. Helping them rise above and beyond their circumstances, and giving them the opportunity, motivation and courage to see the positive differences they can make for themselves, for others, and for their community. How do we do it? By identifying, partnering with and connecting like-minded organisations and individuals who are all striving to accelerate positive change. We raise money and awareness around key issues for youth in the UK. We support the people and projects at the heart of communities that are doing important, innovative work at ground level to make a real difference. And they’re people who are not afraid to work together to bring brilliant ideas to life.

My page:

Hi, thanks for visiting my page.

I am joining the Strive Challenge for the 5 day hike from the base of the Matterhorn into Northern Italy. By supporting me in this challenge you will be supporting young people across the UK to develop resilience skills to thrive in life.

The whole STRIVE Challenge is quite remarkable, a core team will not only be doing the 5 day hike, they are also cycling the length of Italy, swimming from Italy to Sicily, mountain biking to the foothills of Mt Etna and then running a half marathon to the summit. Up to 320 Strivers will joining the challenge across the different legs. The hope is to raise over £1.5m for Big Change to catalyse positive change for young people in the UK, including supporting the work we do at How to Thrive.

STRIVE is about more than a physical challenge. It is the coming together of people bound by a common set of values and a belief to help young people thrive in life. STRIVE is a philosophy: that growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone to achieve bold ambitions; magic happens when you do it with others.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. So if you are a UK tax payer do not forget to click Gift Aid.

I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
