Hi there,

Long story short, I'm running the London Marathon on 23rd April 2017 (putting all the 800m training to good use) for the amazing children's mental heath charity Place2Be which is working in partnership with the Heads Together campaign led by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry . This campaign does work to stop the stigma behind mental health, something I am very passionate about.

I have battled various mental health issues, all of which I developed at school - without the incredible support I recieved from the staff and students I truly dread to think what would have happened. This is where Place2Be really excels.

Place2Be provides in-school support, both emotional and therapeutic, and vital training to students, parents and staff. Their vision is "a world where children can grow with prospects rather than problems". Having expanded to 282 schools, Place2Be does amazing work with children battling themselves, and this work needs to continue to spread.

If you could spare anything at all for this amazing cause, even a little amount could be really beneficial!

Thank you,

Maddy
