Artemis Charitable Foundation
The Artemis Charitable Foundation sponsors the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, an exhilarating test of strength, stamina, and fitness through some of the most spectacular and historic areas of the Scottish Highlands. It involves a 0.8 miles (1.35km) swim across Loch Tay, a 15 mile (24km) run/walk over seven munros, a 7 miles (11km) kayak on Loch Tay, ending with a 34 mile (54km) cycle around the Loch. All proceeds raised by participants go to support the fantastic work undertaken by: Mercy Corps: An international development charity working in over 40 countries worldwide helping people to turn the crises of natural disaster, poverty and conflict into opportunities for progress. Mary's Meals: An international movement to set up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.
