Samaritans Of Cornwall At Truro
Cornwall Samaritans at Truro provide 24 hour, confidential, emotional support to anyone in distress or despair. Samaritans has been offering emotional support to those in distress for over 50 years. Despite the increase in the number of help lines across the UK, Samaritans volunteers are among the very few who are still available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The West Of England MS Therapy Centre
The West of England MS Therapy Centre is an independent regional charity that provides a unique combination of treatments and therapies for people with MS and other neurological conditions, their carers and their families. The Centre provides treatments to people living in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire, Newport, Cardiff, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and Somerset. These treatments include physiotherapy, exercise classes and oxygen treatment to aid symptom management and limit the damaging effects of the condition. We also offer a range of 13 specialist clinics and complimentary therapies to support the individual, their family and carers. People with Multiple Sclerosis make up the majority of the Centre Members, we also treat people with Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, ME and Fibro Myalgia. Our treatments are also available to those who have had a Stroke or Brain Injury amongst other conditions. The Centre acts as a lifeline to me. It helps me meet others and the treatments it offers are extremely important for managing MS. You have to try to make the most out of life you only get one chance. Roger, diagnosed with MS at 24 years of age

Andy Mullins,

Hi, thanks for visiting our page.  At the end of May 2015, Geoff Cater and Andy Mullins are off on another adventure.  In 2012 they circumnavigated Britain in their kayaks, this time they’ll set off from Rosslare on the south east coast of Ireland.  From there they'll attempt to paddle the 1,000 miles or so around the Irish coast in a clockwise direction.

This time the boys are raising money for Samaritans and the MS Therapy Centre in the west of England.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
