Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care
Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care (IRGH) provides hospice care at home and in day hospice for patients with a life-limiting illness in Herts and Bucks. Our care is tailored to patients’ needs, whether that is end of life care or support through treatment and into remission. The charity’s free of charge services also include support for all the family following diagnosis, during the illness and after bereavement. Our nurses work closely with other healthcare professionals, striving to eliminate hospital admissions where possible and making the choice to stay at home a reality for thousands of patients each year

Hi, thanks for visiting my page.

I have just completed the London Marathon 2011 to raise money for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.

The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is a registered charity providing care for patients with life-limiting conditions in their own homes around the Chilterns. In order to provide this specialist care they need to raise £4.8million pounds this year, and with only 9% coming from the Government they rely very heavily on the support of their community.

Please sponsor me and help me to raise as much as possible for this fantastic cause!

I finished the London Marathon in 04:39:30 and given the hot conditions, feel that this was a good result for me. The last 6 miles were very difficult and without the fantastic support of the crowd, I am not sure what time it would have been!

It was a fantastic feeling to know that I had done this for such a worthwhile cause and this helped me get over the finish line.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
