Charities

ZANE
ZANE helps thousands of frail, elderly people with food, utilities and medicine in Zimbabwe. ZANE trains and appoints Community Health Care workers who offer primary health care and nutrition clinics in remote areas in Zimbabwe.
Guy's and St Thomas' Charity
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the oldest and most well-known teaching hospitals. Our areas of specialisation include: cancer, cardiovascular services, kidney and urology, sexual health services and dermatology. We are home to the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. We also provide a wide range of community services in Lambeth and Southwark to children, adults, older people and those with learning disabilities. With your help we can offer medical care that is second to none.
St Michael's Hospice (incorporating The Freda Pearce Foundation)
From the very first day it opened, St Michael's Hospice made a commitment to provide quality, individualised care to patients who have progressive, life-limiting conditions and to offer support to their carers and families during the patient’s illness and in their bereavement. Over the course of time, services such as our day hospice, family support, complementary therapy, lymphoedema and out patient clinics have developed. It will cost more than £4 million to run the Hospice this year of which we get just 10% from statutory sources, the rest we have to raise ourselves! Support from community fundraisers is invaluable and very much appreciated; thank you so much for yours

Hi and thanks for visiting my page. As some of you may know I turned 60 this year so as I have never run a marathon before it seemed like this is the time to do it. Just to make matters more interesting my running partner Oliver St Quintin and I decided to run the Auckland Marathon. This ain't going to be easy folks so to quote Bob Geldorf 'Just give us your money'. It is going to three very good causes and in memory of my good friends Sarah Falkenburg and Annie Irwin both of whom died this year from cancer.
