Save the Rhino
Connecting Conservation and Communities Save the Rhino International works to conserve viable populations of critically endangered rhinos in Africa and Asia. We recognise that the future of wildlife is inextricably linked to the communities that share its habitat. By funding field projects and through education, our goal is to deliver material, long-lasting and widespread benefits to rhinos and other endangered species, ecosystems and to the people living in these areas.

Cycling For Rangers

Cycling For Rangers -

The challenge we're undertaking is to ride a snaking route from Johannesburg to Nairobi; more than 8,000km through 9 countries and 10 national parks, fundraising for, and telling the stories of front-line Rangers.

Why? The hard facts. Two rangers die a week worldwide and it's very possible that we’ll see the extinction of rhino and elephant within our lifetime.

The Goal? Use our project to raise awareness and funds for Anti-Poaching Rangers across Africa. We’ve partnered with For Rangers, a fantastic organisation that channel funds directly into the most critical areas.

The route? It will enable us to meet and interview front-line Anti-Poaching Rangers and make a feature length documentary. We will explore their relationship with both the animals and people that live alongside them.

We have funded our equipment, living costs and flights so that 100% of donations will go to this incredible cause.

Save the Rhino are the umbrella charity in which “For Rangers” will distribute funds to the specific projects: 100% of all donations will go to “For Rangers.” -

Paying by cheque (including CAF): For anyone wishing to donate by cheque then please send it to our Head Of Operations and make it out to “Save The Rhino International”: Venetia Higgins, 57a Quinton St, Earlsfield, London, SW183QR
