Thank you for taking the time to visit the Mr Happy Runs Britain fundraising page- by getting this far you've already made Mr Happy very happy!

As you're probably already aware, I have now become the first Mr Man to run from John O'Groats to Lands End in my bid to raise money for CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA.

The reasons behind this crazy venture are actually very simple- namely that I owe my life to CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA having had leukaemia myself eight years ago.

I had to undergo intensive chemo and radiotherapy before a bone marrow transplant ultimately saved my life.

The success of that transplant was due in no small part to the enormous improvements in the treatment and understanding of leukaemia that have been made by doctors and scientists in recent years which mean that four out of five children now survive a bone marrow transplant.

So far we have raised more than £45,000 from Mr Happy Runs Britain which is fantastic. However, we have still got some way to go before we reach my ultimate fundraising target of £250,000.

This is the amount it cost for me to have my own treatment and transplant.

I am determined to raise that amount to give others the same second chance at life that was afforded to me.

Please help me in this quest by making a donation today. Together we can put a smile back on the faces of leukaemic children and their families- they deserve to be Happy like me!

Thank you!
