Article 25
1 in 6 people do not have decent or safe housing to live in. Article 25 provides the expertise to make buildings safe, suitable and sustainable. By working with local communities we ensure each building is a community owned and maintained project, sharing skills and creating livelihoods.
Architects Benevolent Society
The Society is the only registered charity in the UK for architects, assistants, technologists and landscape architects and their dependants. We give practical help to people of all ages who have experienced illness, accident, redundancy, bereavement or other personal misfortune. Our support ranges from grants and loans to confidential advice.

Portland to Portland's fundraising page

Peter Murray

My page:

On April 27 2013 some 15 cyclists will set out to ride the 4.500 miles from Portland Oregon to Portland Place London to study cycling infrastructure and raise money for two architects' charities - the Architects Benevolent Society and Article 25. We will cycle from Portland to New York, fly to Shannon, ride to Dublin, take the ferry to Holyhead and ride to London.
We chose Portland as our starting point because it is a cycling city.
