Prostate Cancer UK
Prostate Cancer UK fights to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life. We support men and provide vital information. We find answers by funding research into causes and treatments. And we lead change, raising the profile of the disease and improving care. We believe that men deserve better.
Carney's Community
Carney’s Community aims to reduce offending, re-offending and anti-social behaviour, whilst improving social mobility and community cohesion. We achieve this by engaging a range of young people, in positive and constructive activities, whilst offering intensive, one to one mentoring.
Sohana Research Fund
Sohana Research Fund exists to find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa -a very painful genetic skin blistering condition that leads to malignant skin cancer in young adulthood. Take the EBtonguetwister challenge and fund vital research into a condition that leaves children and adults in constant pain. Minimal friction leads to blistering or skin loss and is intensely painful. Internal body linings are also affected and this includes the eyes surface. Abrasions to the cornea can take days to heal and leaves a sufferer blind until this occurs. There is no treatment or cure for EB at present and symptomatic relief is all that can be offered. Research has reached a crucial stage however and treatments are widely anticipated in a number of fields - Cell, Gene, Protein and drug therapy. Our aim is to expedite this research with a present focus on cell and gene therapy. We target late stage research and aim to accelerate progression to clinical trials to bring benefits to sufferers more quickly. We are currently funding trials at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas's NHS trust and the Institute of Child Health. We are also funding pioneering gene editing work at the University of Minnesota

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. I'm attempting to become the youngest person to cycle around the world. I'm targetting around 200 days which works out at about 100 miles a day. I really appreciate all your support, and thank you for any donations. All three charities are brilliant causes and you can learn more about them and my trip here: www.tomdaviesrtw.com

I must also apologise for the fact that I probably won't be able to thank all of you personally as I may be a bit busy when I'm cycling. So thank you in advance!
