Whale Of A Ride
We are Zeina Saad from the US and Howard Foster form the UK and we are raising money for the International Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society in Fiji at a site called Moon Reef, critical resting habitat for Spinner dolphins (Stenella longirostris). Firstly we fundraised by cycling 3,019 miles from London to Marrakech in summer 2011. After nearly three months in the saddle, we successfully completed the challenge in October 2011. In the last two years, we have seen some of the great work done to help protect these beautiful and intelligent marine mammals, primarily through the work of Dr. Cara Miller of WDCS International in Fiji. We recently assisted Dr. Miller and the community of Dawasamu District in Fiji to establish a new Marine Protected Area (MPA) at Moon Reef. Your donation will help protect whales and dolphins globally, whilst benefitting the local communities that WDCS International supports.
