My name is Andy and I am running at least three miles every day for a year to support the Sense holidays program.
Sense is a deafblind charity which provides inclusive and expertly supported holiday experiences for people with sensory impairments and associated disabilities. Each summer in a five week period, Sense provide vital respite from caring duties for the family and activity holiday experiences for over 125 children and adults.
Many of the parents tell us that this is the only respite they get from caring for their deafblind family member and so this work really does make a difference to a great many people.
The target of £1,800 reflects the cost of providing a truly supportive holiday experience for one of the 125 plus holidaymakers who benefit from the holidays program each year.
Your financial support is invaluable to Sense and I thank you personally for it. I know, first hand the difference holidays make, having been involved with the Holidays program for some eight years or so.
Thanks for your donation and I hope to see you on a run soon!

Updated: The target became £18,000 due entirely to a typo by my local paper. Always up for a challenge, I decided to run with it, so to speak.

Help!
