CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

Hello there, my brother and I are getting ready to walk approx 300 miles over ten days to raise as much money as possible for CLIC Sargent who give care and support to families and young children with cancer. The help that they give acts as a much needed lifeline for the children and families who are suffering at such a hard time in there life. This site has been set up so that you can support us and help us raise as much money as possible for this very worthy charity. And you are also in the knowledge that your donations are safe and secure.
Our walk will start from JD wetherspoons Tamworth on the 20th January and will take us through Burton, Derby, Skegness, Mablethorpe, Lincoln, Nottingham, Derby, and hopefully back to Tamworth on 29th January.
We would like to say a huge thank you to ANDY FARRINGDON of BRADLEY SCOTT WINDOWS who without his help and support this event would not be possible. Andy has kindly spent a lot of time and money in providing us with all the neccessary clothing and walking equipment. Darren contacted Andy only two months ago to ask for his help and Andy did not hesitate in supporting our challenge and has been supporting us every step of the way!
