Aching Arms
Bringing comfort after pregnancy and baby loss. Aching Arms is a baby loss charity run by a group of bereaved mothers who have experienced the pain and emptiness of leaving hospital without their much wanted baby. Our aim is to raise awareness of the impact of pregnancy and baby loss and bring some comfort to bereaved parents and their families after the loss of a baby. We provide Aching Arms comforter bears to hospitals for midwives to give out. We also reach out to bereaved families who contact us via our website, email, Facebook or Twitter and post dedicated bears directly.

73 in 73 - Emily Bould

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/73in73

Our beautiful daughter Emily Bould was born on 16th February 2017 but after a short and brave battle she sadly passed away. Although the time after has been extremely difficult, it's been made a little easier by a number of wonderful charities. Three of those charities are the Royal Stoke Hospital Forget Me Not rooms, Aching Arms UK and 4Louis.

Photography plays a large part of our lives, we wanted to use this medium as a way to raise money for the charities that have helped so much. So, we set ourselves a challenge: To take 73 landscape photographs (in the Peak District) in 73 days. We will be using the 73 photographic locations contained in James Grant's superb Peak District book - 'Through the lens' as a guide. Landscape photographs look their best when taken around sunrise and sunset so this is what we will be doing, early mornings and late evenings, trying to fit it all around work!

We will be taking our Aching Arms teddy bear (Grace Ann Coles) with us on every single trip. At the end of the 73 days we will have the best landscape photos printed and displayed locally (more on that soon). The prints will be purchaseable and all money raised will be split and dontated to the three charities. We are also hoping to donate the best two prints to the hopsital so they can be displayed in or around the Forget Me Not rooms.
