Charity
SportsAid is the charity for sports people, helping the next generation of British sporting talent to succeed. For over 30 years, SportsAid has financially supported talented, young sports people when they need it the most, at the start of their journey to international success. SportsAid is the first organisation to recognise their talent, often when Mum and Dad are their only sponsors. Young athletes, both able-bodied and those with a disability, are nominated to SportsAid by their sport’s own national governing body (NGB). This ensures the right athlete is helped at the right time, and in the right way. It is a proven and established process that makes a genuine difference. Many of Britain’s most successful athletes have been helped on their journey by SportsAid: Redgrave, Radcliffe, Grey-Thompson, Holmes, Hoy, Adlington, Wiggins, Ohuruogu, and many more. By raising money in the name of sport for the benefit of sport, we ensure the next generation has the backing they need to reach the same heights.

Adrian's London Tri 2010
Hi everyone, thanks for visiting this page.
It has been a while since the Rhino episode, and so it is time for the next challenge. Whilst a bit shorter in distance, it is no less difficult - particularly training with the 3 young ones hanging onto my legs.
Some of you will know that Sports Aid has a particular fond place in my life - as the first charity to give me a grant at the age of 14 to help me on my way to a fulfilling sporting career. It wasn't just the moey that made the difference, but fact that someone had noticed me, and was prepared to recognise it. A great impact on the self confidence of an aspiring hopeful. Sports Aid still makes those grants and impacts the lives of many young talented sportsmen and women.
I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
Cheers
Adrian
