7th Annual London Legal Sponsored Walk

16 May 2011

A 10km "after work" walk to raise funds for legal advice agencies in London and the South East. Led by the Lord Chief Justice, the Master of the Rolls, the Presidents of the Law Society and ILEX and the Chair of the Bar Council. Last year 4,500 walkers raised £400,000. So that is the target to beat

Our team is:- Alan Edwards, Graham French, Gemma Marrs, Matilda Rubens, Kathy Thomas, Natalie Turner, Daniel Culhane, Jag Bhatia and Clare Torri

We are raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust which funds Law Centres and pro bono agencies in and around London. We know that these agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation. 

We also know how short they are of the funds to continue that work.
