Charity

The Prostate Cancer Charity
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and one man dies of it every hour in the UK. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK's leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We are fighting prostate cancer on every front - by funding and encouraging research, providing support and information for diagnosed men, and their friends and family, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the most comprehensive range of services of all the prostate cancer charities and offer the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline supported by specialist nurses who provide free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. Your support could help save men's lives.

The Great Tour 2010 - Alistair Cope

Fundraiser:
Alistair Cope

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/AlistairCope

Hi, thanks for visiting my page.

I have to confess that I am slightly nervous about the task ahead, however I will give it my all and hope that I can keep the pedals turning for the full 6600km and every day of the 64 day adventure of The Great Tour. http://www.thegreattour.org/

I have been privileged to work alongside some of the staff at The Prostate Cancer Charity and I hope that be taking part in this epic adventure, I can help their organisation fundraise and also raise awareness of prostate cancer as the most common cancer in men.

I hope to set up various blogs about the challenge and would love to get your emails as I work my way round the coastline as part of the inaugural Great Tour, so do please keep checking here for more information.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to The Prostate Cancer Charity. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

My thanks to Chris Davies of http://www.qoroz.co.uk for supplying me with a Road Won for this epic challenge!
