Please help me as a member of Team GSD soar above my personal target of £500 in support of the charity that helped my family through some very difficult times. I am now working hard to develop the charity into a highly respected organisation that supports all people living with Glycogen Storage Disease (GSD) in the UK.

You can help me meet my ambitions in two ways: (1) By making a small donation on this page and (2) by encouraging family, colleagues and chums to ride in the GSD Giant Charity Sportive; they don't need to fundraise, just pay an entry fee and enjoy the tranquility of the South Downs National Park. Why not form your own Giant team for the day?

Glycogen is a complex sugar stored by the body, normally it releases the simple sugar, glucose, when needed by the brain and muscles. With each GSD there is a metabolic error that causes the process of storing or releasing this energy and can result in many different symptoms from mild muscle weakness through to severe hypoclycaemic seizures and organ failure.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the AGSD-UK. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on our behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
