Big Volcano Challenge 2012

27 January 2012

Now in its’ 3rd year of running, our popular Volcano Challenge will see another team of fundraisers head out to Guatemala in January 2012. The team will climb 3 volcanoes (2 of which are active!) in just 3 days! They will camp out on the volcanoes and carry all their own food, water and kit. The challengers will reach altitudes of 4,000m and endure temperatures ranging from minus 10 to 30C. The team will also have the opportunity to spend time with the children at the school and enjoy a welcome back/celebration party with the local community. Take on the challenge of a lifetime and help some of the poorest children in Central America break out of a life of poverty!

On Jan 27th, I will join my firends at Education For The Children (EFTC) in the 2012 edition of the Volcano Challenge; climbing three volcanoes in three consecutive days to raise funds to help children living under conditions of extreme poverty in Guatemala.

There is no donation too small and every penny you donate will go directly to EFTC to help pay for the children to go school and have yummy and nutritious meals, plus provinding them with shelter and healtcare.
