Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

I am involved in supporting a charity event which will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous football match ever using 2 squads of only 18 players. The current record stands at 37 hours and we are aiming for 40 hours plus. The players have to sleep at the pitch side when not playing, only getting 5 minutes 'comfort' breaks for every hour they play. This is an immense commitment physically and mentally, but more importantly it's for a great cause -

To raise £30,000 to build a school for some of the poorest and oppressed children of the Dalit community in India. All money raised will go to an organisation called Relief, Education and Development who build the schools.

Please view the 2 minute long video link on the homepage of www.football4dalits.com .

I have two children myself and it's easy for me to take for granted that they have access to a great local school and 2 great local general hospitals. Trying to imagine that they were denied access to them because of my social status, moved me to want to contribute to building this school for the children of the Dalit community. If you are moved as I was to be involved then please give generously. I really appreciate your support, many thanks. For further information please go to our website www.football4dalits.com .
