Tommy's goal is to reduce the incidence of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth which cause so much suffering to more than a quarter of all parents across the UK. Tommy's believes that disseminating information can help to minimise the risks inherent in pregnancy whilst medical research will increase our understanding of the fundamental causes and hence lead to identifying those most at risk and treating them.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Please give generously.
After years of putting it off ( and watching Al run a little bit jealous and wishing I could do it ) I have committed to run the 2012 Virgin London Marathon. I will be running and raising money on behalf of Tommy's the baby charity who sponsor research into miscarriage and stillbirth.
If you are still reading I will explain briefly why this charity means a lot to me...
We were fortunate to celebrate the birth of our second child this year, born happy, healthy and making our family complete. Too many of my friends, at the same time were not so fortunate.
The grief and devastation experienced is without measure. We have been lucky, life is fragile and every one is precious.
Tommy's aim to halve the number of stillbriths and miscarriages by 2030. Any life saved is worth a few miles of pain. So please give generously.
