Paul and Ash's LEJOG Challenge
Hi, thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to my chosen charity (MIND). Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
About the Challenge
Myself and Paul will be attempting the LEJOG (Land's End to John o' Groats) ride, which is approximately 900 Miles. This will very likely be more if I let Paul take charge of the navigating!
We will be commencing our challenge on the 12th April 2012 and (if things go according to plan) we should be complete by about 20th April 2012. We are aiming to cycle between 100 to 120 miles per day with overnight stays in local Bed & Breakfast establishments of our choice along the route.
About Paul Duckworth
Paul and I are both members of the Ribble Valley Cycling and Racing Club (http://www.ribblevalleycrc.com/). I met Paul last year at the club.
Paul will be cycling for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. A close friend (of Paul's) got the dreaded news a few months ago, and in Paul's words, "so many of us are affected by people we know who are in the same situation".
