BW Trekkers' fundraising page
Thanks for visiting our page. Oxfam is the chosen charity of the year for Barcan Woodward Solicitors and we are taking part in the Oxfam Trailtrekker. This involves covering 62 miles in 30 hours. This equates to nearly 2.5 marathons over lots of hills. Yes, we will have to walk through the night. The event started more that thirty years ago as a training exercise for Ghurkhas to test soldiers’ stamina and teamwork skills. It is hardcore.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Oxfam. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
Oxfam spends the vast majority of the money it receives on charitable activities, raising funds and generating income. It spends only 0.4% of its income on governance. If you would like to find out how Oxfam compares to other charities then have a look here http://www.charity-commission.gov.uk.
The money we raise will be spent on issues such as Climate change, Conflict and natural disasters, Health, Education, Debt and aid, Gender equality, The right to be heard, Trade, Private sector, Poverty in the UK, and Global economic crisis.
