Caring Cancer Trust gives hands-on support for Children with Cancer and their caring parents, providing in-patient amenities and, where necessary, financial aid in visiting travel costs for needy parents. We provide special all expenses paid recuperative Alpine and UK Healing Holidays of Adventure for Children recovering from Cancer, helping them to regain their self-confidence and re-ignite their passion for life after the trauma of their life threatening illness and lengthy treatment. We fund ethical original research at UK oncology research laboratories that does not involve the use of live animals or embryonic human stem cells into the causes, early diagnosis, treatment and cure of Cancers in children and adults. Caring Cancer Trust is wholly run by unpaid hands-on patrons, trustees and volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to this cause.

Vos Alpine Adventure White Water Team 2011

Nine kids recovering from Cancer and I, Don Haver, have teamed up to make a Big Splash on 11 August! Since going live with this page, four more intrepid Splashers have joined the team to make a total of 14.
The kids are all aged between 12 and 14. I am blind and at 76 will be the grandaddy of them all!
With the help of professional guides we shall shoot the rapids of the river Dranse in the French Alps in a sponsored Alpine White Water Raft run. We are shooting down a testing 5 kilometer stretch of grade III/IV rapids with a 200 metre drop in two rafts to raise money for Kids with Cancer.
This is the first ever sponsored Alpine White Water rafting event undertaken by kids and your donations will help send other Children recovering from Cancer on an Alpine Healing Holiday of Adventure .
