Computer Aid International
Computer Aid International refurbishes donated computers in the UK and sends them to where they are most needed for use by schools and non-profit organisations in developing countries. It works in partnership with local people to ensure that all of its computers are used effectively by communities in need.

BioMed Central vs Nature Charity 10K

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/BioMedCentral

BioMed Central is taking on Nature Publishing Group on September 28th in a clash of the science publishing titans.

The challenge: a 10K run along Regent's Canal and around Regent's park.

Will the open access upstarts defeat the 141-year-old heavyweight? We'll have to wait to find out.

But meanwhile, you can support BioMed Central's team (including open access mascot Gulliver Turtle, who is currently in training) by making a donation to Computer Aid using the Donate Now button on the right.

Contributions will help support the cost of supplying a container of reconditioned computer equipment to Kenyatta University in Kenya, where it is urgently needed.
