LET'S HELP THOSE WITH BREAST CANCER

Over the last year I’ve been horrified and deeply saddened by the number of friends, and friends of friends, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Unfortunately, I am sure most of you reading this will also have someone you know and love who is affected by this disease.
Feeling rather helpless, I decided my way of making a difference would be to raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign*. In order to do this I’ve challenged myself to running a half marathon. As you know, I love London and I couldn’t think of a nicer one to run than the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, London, on Sunday 9 October.
I would be so happy if you would sponsor me. I’d like to challenge myself to doing it under 2 hours but my maths tells me running 10 minute miles x 13.1 miles takes me to 2 hours 10 minutes!! So I don’t think this is being realistic. Having said that, should anyone like to pledge a HUGE amount of money I would try EVEN harder to achieve this!!!!!
I want to be part of the cure – do you?
