Charity
Action for Children supports and speaks out for the UK's most vulnerable, disadvantaged and neglected children and young people. We’ve been working with children since 1869, and currently run nearly 500 projects across the UK supporting around 50,000 children and young people. This makes us the UK’s leading provider of family and community centres and services for disabled children and young people leaving care. We also promote social justice by lobbying and campaigning for change.
Please note Virgin Money Giving isn't responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know and we'll look into it.
The Byte Night Miscellany under the stars
Hi there!
Thanks for popping by.
We are the Byte Night Miscellany - a group of freelancers, entrepreneurs, advisers and self-employed people who are joining forces to support Action for Children's Byte Night. We wanted to take part but don't have enough people in our businesses to field a team.
On October 8th, we'll be spending the night sleeping under the stars (or the rain clouds...) in order to raise money and awareness for youth homelessness.
Please sponsor generously!
Vero, Bill, Mark, David, Tim and Alex
Together we represent organisations including BBC, BDO LLP, The Business Leaders Network, Cognitive Match, PepsMedia and Taylor Wessing.
Note: Some of the funds were raised here (included in offline total)
