Cannock Chase Councillor for Hednesford South, Paul Woodhead and community activist Stuart Crabtree are joining campaigners from the Black Country YMCA to raise the profile of homeless in our community.

Please give generously

Homelessness is a hidden problem in Cannock Chase where those in most need for emergency accommodation are shipped off to the Black Country or Birmingham. This is a problem which is getting worse and we have many neighbours struggling without a home for many, many different reasons. Just because the problem is not visible does not make these people invisible.

Please donate to our cause.

Pye Green Christian Centre does excellent work in Cannock Chase working with some of the most forgotten homeless people and our foodbanks. This rough sleep is to help the YMCA.

Paul was joined by another Cannock Chase Green Party community activist in December 2015 to support a rough sleep on the streets of Birmingham supporting Wolverhampton Homeless Outreach and you can see the photos attached.

We would appreciate any amount you can donate.

Whilst sleeping one night rough does not in any way replicate what our fellow men and women go through every day it really does change your perception of the stories behind the problem and we can ALL always do more.
