This year let's make the COSMIC Walk even bigger and better than ever!

Invite your family, friends and colleagues to gather in Hyde Park on Sunday 11th July 2010 and join the annual 5K COSMIC Walk to St Mary's Hospital.

And when they have all signed up for this fabulous event, ask them to ask their families, friends and colleagues to sponsor them!

The walk finishes in St Mary's Hospital where there will be a tea party, face painting and a raffle.

If you are not able to join us, please sponsor each of the 400+ people who will be there to raise money for the Paediatrics Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Mary's Hospital by making a donation online.

Each year the PICU treats over 500 critically ill children, and the nurses and doctors who treat them save lives every day.

COSMIC was founded in 1995, a year after the PICU was set up, to help by funding vital, life-saving equipment, groundbreaking research into the causes and treatments of childhood illnesses, and invaluable parent support, including accommodation for parents within minutes of the hospital.

COSMIC relies totally on donations and sponsorship to ensure that each of the children in our care receives the very highest possible level of treatment.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
