WVP Kenya - WVP Kenya is a local NGO operating in four districts of Western Kenya. Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of children and youth affected by poverty and disease. To do this in the most comprehensive way, we work in partnership with local community based organisations and implement a number of health and life-opportunity enhancing activities with children in their catchment areas. These activities range from sports and health education, provision of scholarships and providing community groups with the social and financial resources to provide adequate care and support of vulnerable children. We also facilitate the building of basic infrastructure and engage local people in advocacy for healthy and sustainable living.

Take part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon and see the historical sites of Nottingham in a unique way. If you really feel like challenging yourself, there is a full marathon on the same day.

In a change to the scheduled viewing...

I am doing the Great North Run!

Due to unforseen circumstances 'The Chignell's' are no longer able to complete the Nottingingham Robin Hood Half Marathon.

Still wanting to complete the challenge and raise some money for WVP, Alex and Rob are going to do the Great North Run instead.

This presents even more of a challenge as it is two weeks earlier!!
