Teenage Cancer Trust
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the seven young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day. We build specialist units within NHS hospitals bringing young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. We want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live. Traditionally treated alongside children or elderly patients at the end of their lives, young people can feel extremely isolated during treatment, some never meeting another young person with cancer. Being treated alongside others their own age can make a huge difference to their whole experience. Teenage Cancer Trust also educates young people and health professionals about cancer to ensure a swift diagnosis and referral to specialist support. Cancer in young people is rare but we want young people to know the common signs and symptoms so they can seek medical advice if they are worried. We rely solely on donations to fund our vital work. You can help transform the lives of young people with cancer. Visit to find out how.

My page:

Hi, my name is Chris Bullock and im running the London Marathon 2014 for the Teenage Cancer Trust. I am an 18 year old student studying A levels and i'm running this as my best friend Stephen Sutton (in the picture with the painted face) has been fighting cancer for the past three years. Ste in January 2013 got diagnosed incurable.

Ste has been my best friend for over 11 years now and he has been such an inspiration to me. Since his diagnosis in January he has spent endless hours fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust. My way of supporting and helping ste do this is to take on this mammoth challenge.

Ste was treated in the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit in Birmingham Childrens Hospital and both the facilities and the staff were fantastic. This helped ste throughout his treatments. The Teenage Cancer Trust provide support and opportunities to young people throughout their illness and they also do an amazing job supporting their families.

If you would like to find out more about Ste his facebook link is below,

If you would like to support me with my challenge, all donations would be greatly appreciated.
