Hi, thanks for visiting my page. I have successfully completed my cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats, starting 26th August and ending 16th September. Have a look at the photo gallery below.
This was a post-retirement challenge to give me focus over this Summer, and is in aid of a fantastic local charity that provides very direct and practical help to a small area of Ethiopia. I would like to collect enough money to buy a solar powered fridge, which will allow safe storage of vaccines - a real problem in rural areas. They cost approximately £3000 and at the time of this update I was over two thirds of the way to that sum, thanks to all of the dozens who have contributed so far.
