Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care (IRGH) provides hospice care at home and in day hospice for patients with a life-limiting illness in Herts and Bucks. Our care is tailored to patients’ needs, whether that is end of life care or support through treatment and into remission. The charity’s free of charge services also include support for all the family following diagnosis, during the illness and after bereavement. Our nurses work closely with other healthcare professionals, striving to eliminate hospital admissions where possible and making the choice to stay at home a reality for thousands of patients each year

Go Go Gomm is back!
Go Go Gomm goes great guns in her marathon run!
On Sunday 22nd April I ran the Virgin London Marathon for the second year in a row. It was an amazing day, and to top it off I came in under 4 hours, smashing last year’s time with 03:57:37.
Last year I raised over £3,600 for Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care. This year my target is £2,700. My mum would have turned 63 on 21st April, the day before the marathon, and in her memory I want to raise a grand total of £6,300 over the two years.
As many of you know, Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care holds a very special place in my heart. They supported both my mum and my family during a very difficult time, and have more recently supported the families of close friends of mine.
Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care is an amazing local charity who offering care and advice to patients with life threatening illness, such as cancer, as well as supporting relatives and carers during the illness and bereavement period.
The fantastic care and support that we received is provided free of charge. This is only made possible by the generosity of people sponsoring someone like me doing silly things such as running a marathon (for the second year in a row!)
