Charity
The NSPCC's purpose is to end cruelty to children. Our vision is of a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. We seek to achieve cultural, social and political change - influencing legislation, policy, practice, attitudes and behaviours and delivering services for the benefit of all children and young people across the UK and Channel Islands. In September 2008, the NSPCC launched its Child's Voice Appeal to answer more children's cries for help. Every day, thousands of children and young people need to talk to ChildLine about a problem they face, while hundreds of caring adults call the NSPCC Helpline, worried about a child's safety. With the help of people like you, ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline are already there for thousands of children and young people, but many more need our help. We rely on the generosity of the general public to continue our work.

We have taken the excitement of the Olympics, and we’re running with it...literally!
The Olympics has landed on our doorstep and in order to raise our sporting spirits and raise money for a fantastic cause team Colfe's Leisure have taken on the Gold Challenge.
The Challenge
This is no walk in the park, Colfe's Leisure will be pushing ourselves to the limit in this attempt to complete 2012km, all in time for the start of the Olympic Games. We are planning to run, cycle, swim, row, and kayak in order to cover this distance and it is not going to be easy!
The Charity

This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of something special and raise much needed funds for The NSPCC.
Gift Aid - Ticking the box, what does it mean?
Under Gift Aid, the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will usually top up every £1 given to The NSPCC with 25p. So The NSPCC could receive £250 for every £1,000 donated with no extra expense.
For donations to be eligible for Gift Aid, the donor needs to be a UK taxpayer and have paid an equal amount in income/capital gains tax.
So please support us in our journey to Gold!
