Dreams Come True is a national charity which fulfills the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children aged 2-21 years of age. Every child has their own unique dream and making that dream come true for a child not only brightens their life but is a gift of joy and wonderful memories that parents and family will treasure forever. That's what we do at Dreams Come True every day. From specially adapted trykes to swimming with dolphins, meeting a favourite sports hero to a once in a life time holiday in the sun we can make dreams come true with your help. We receive no government or lottery funding and rely on our fund raisers to support our work. 25,000 children move into palliative care every year so please run for us and make more dreams come true.

Dreams Come True
Cooper Associates Ltd is a corporate partner of the children’s charity Dreams Come True. In partnership with Dreams Come True, our mission is to help make dreams come true for terminally ill children aged between 2 and 21.
Why do we do it?
Dream children often have very little to look forward to apart from endless rounds of hospital visits, painful treatments, or the prospect of living with a long debilitating disease. These very brave children can become depressed and frustrated yet they all dream of things they want to do and achieve.
Fulfilling a dream provides a positive focus empowering both them and their families with new enthusiasm and strength to deal with the ongoing daily struggles of illness, gruelling hospital treatment and sometimes sad loss.
The Dream Child
To qualify for a dream, each child has to be in a potentially life-threatening situation. This may be Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Leukaemia, Brittle Bone Disease or all manner of threatening illnesses.
How we raise our funds
In addition to Cooper Associates Ltd contributing a significant monthly donation to the charity, our employees regularly participate in various fund raising activities, which rely heavily on the generosity of so many.

Completed Events
25th August 2012 - Three Peaks Challenge
Lisa Rawle successfully climbed Ben Nevis before breaking her ankle in two places! Lisa was airlifted off the mountain and is now looking to repeat the challenge after recover. Lisa made a fantastic effort and we look forward to watching her complete the challenge soon.
22nd April 2012 – Virgin London Marathon
Lee Cooper, Director and Katherine Stone, Senior Administrator both successfully completed the challenging London Marathon. Both put up with bleeding legs and popping blisters to raise money for Dreams Come True. A fantastic achievement.
16th September 2011 - Kilimanjaro Mountain Climb Challenge
Samantha Cooper, our training and competence manager, completed the trek up Africa’s highest mountain. Trekking through four seasons in a week, from steamy forest to snowy summit, required great resolve and stamina.
23rd September 2011 - Lands End to John O Groats Cycle Ride
Two of our company directors, Lee and Glyn Cooper, accomplished Lands End to John O Groats in just seven days, ably supported by Katherine Stone.
