Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Our challenge is to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats.

Our chosen charities are The Brain Tumour Charity and the Get ahead Charitable Trust.

Approximately 8500 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumour each year in the UK. That's more than 25 people each day..  About 1 in 4 of those are Meningiomas, the type of tumour my cousin Dawn was diagnosed with in 2008.  Dawn initially lost the use of her legs and left arm after surgery. Her left leg remains affected; she now has epilepsy and has struggled with depression. The consequences of the tumour have been life changing but Dawn remains positive and relies on the support of Brain Tumour Charities.

Tim worked with Rod Ackrill for over 15 years. Rod recently passed away but he was a great supporter of the Get ahead charity. In memory of Rod part of the fund raising will go to Get ahead, which is a cancer charity supporting all head and neck diseases.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
