Ok, I won't be running the London Marathon - and definately not in those heels!  However Russ and Matt will be taking on the 26.2 mile challenge on the 25th April.

If you want to come down and support Russ and Matt on the day, see this webpage for details

Russ is running for the Stroke Association, and Matt on behalf of Guy's and Saint Thomas Kidney Patient Association.

Rather than make you choose who to support, I decided to pool our resources.  As a DTNA Student, donate here and at the end of the collecting period Dance the Night Away will match, pound for pound, your money.

50% will then go to each of these fabulous charities.

The Stroke Assocation do amazing work for Stroke Patients and their families through their community services, and a friend of ours works closely with their research department. In a recent listing it was found that the Stroke assocation only just get into the top 50 charities in the country (listed by money donated) - beaten by a Donkey Sanctuary!  We need to put this right - and we can start here.

The Guys And St. Thomas Hospital Kidney Patients Association (GSTTKPA) exists to promote the welfare and facilities for patients of Guys and St Thomas suffering from kidney disease or renal failure. They also donate to the Research term at Guys.  The GSTTKPA were there for a friend of ours when he needed a kidney transplant with support for him and his partner (the donor!).  The work these guys do for the recipients, donors, families and friends of transplant patients is amazing and we are proud to be able to give back something to the charity that helped save the lives of two dear friends.
