Tommy's goal is to reduce the incidence of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth which cause so much suffering to more than a quarter of all parents across the UK. Tommy's believes that disseminating information can help to minimise the risks inherent in pregnancy whilst medical research will increase our understanding of the fundamental causes and hence lead to identifying those most at risk and treating them.

DaisyTrail's fundraising page
This year, DaisyTrail has decided to support the fantastic charity, Tommy's.
Throughout 2012 we will be running competitions, holding bake sales and trying to generate as much fundraising as possible.
UPDATE!
Thanks to the tremendous support received from all our DaisyTrail community, colleagues, friends and family we are delighted to increase our target for the 2nd time to £9,000!
There's still plenty more fundraising activities to come so keep on the look out for more updates and help us to smash this target once again for Tommy's!
A little about Tommy's
It's hard to believe that every day across the UK a quarter of all pregnancies end in miscarriage, 11 babies are stillborn, and 161 babies are born too early.
Tommy's exists to save babies' lives by funding vital research and providing much needed information on the causes and prevention of premature birth, stillbirth, and miscarriage. With 1 in 4 women losing a baby during pregnancy or birth, chances are that we all know someone who's experienced loss – and some of us also know first-hand just how devastating it is.

How you can help us raise money for Tommy's
So far, we have received a tremendous amount of support from the members of our digital scrapbooking site: DaisyTrail. Throughout the last few months, we have held bake sales, competitions, and released three fantastic charity digikits – with all the proceeds* of the kits going direct to Tommy’s.
