Thanks for taking the time to visit my Virgin Money Giving page.

I have taken part in the London Marathon on the 25th April 2010 and I ran the 26.2 miles to raise funds for The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.

I finished with a time of 3hrs 38mins and I can honestly say its never again!

Anway I ran because I have recently lost someone very dear to me, my mother in law, Jenny, sadly passed away on the 6th October last year and it wasn't until the last few weeks of her life that I wholly understood the importance that a Hospice would provide for a patient that is terminally ill with cancer.

Unfortunately Jenny never made her trip home but running the London Marathon, in her memory, will enable me to raise not only funding but the awareness of the fantastic support that, Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, provide to terminally ill patients who choose to be at home during the final stages of a terminal illness in the Chilterns area of Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire.

Donating through Virgin Money Giving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with Virgin Money Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.  So it’s the most efficient way to donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Even though the event has passed you can still sponsor me and help make a difference. So please dig deep!!!!
