The Lord's Taverners is the official Charity of recreational cricket and the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports Charity Sport and recreation are essential for young people and our mission is to give a 'sporting chance' to those in need. Hi All

Thanks for visiting my page.  After sponsoring numerous people and charities over the years I thought it was high time that I got off my backside and broke my own sweat for a worthwhile cause.

On the 2nd June I will be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge

This challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.

The difficulty completing the Three Peaks 24 hour challenge shouldn't be underestimated. It is very easy to get lost, particularly on the National Three Peaks and Welsh 3000s, and particularly when mountains need to be climbed in the dark or in poor weather.

This will be particularly difficult for me as I am not fit, have a poor sense of direction and being fairly short... I have no head for heights.  My training so far is consisting of eating McDonalds bacon rolls (brown sauce) every morning and is going very well, going slightly less well are the uphill runs that seem to knock the stuffing out of me.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to The Lord's Taverners as my sellected charity. The Lords Taverners' mission is to "give young people, particularly those with special needs a sporting chance."

I think it is worthwhile to say that all money pledged will go to charity and I will meet all costs involved in carrying out the challenge.
