Hi all,

Big thanks for visiting our page

In order to support a charity that is close to our hearts, Gary, Jamie, Lee, Carl and I are walking...a long way.

Cricket without boundaries is a UK based charity that works in some of the world's poorest communities and more recently in the UK, to promote health messages through cricket. We are a small volunteer run charity so every pound you donate is crucial.

Cricket without boundaries believes that education and knowledge exchange is a sustainable way is reducing dangerous health behaviours that can contribute to the fight against HIV/AIDS - which is still a brutal killer in many of the poorest communities in the world. We also believe that by framing these messages in a fun and inclusive way through cricket, the messages have a better chance of changing behaviour both in Africa and here in the UK.

Our walk is our biggest challenge to date. We will be walking 147 miles in 4 days (i.e. 6 marathons in 4 days) from London to Birmingham, all along the Grand Union canal. We have endured snow, blisters and bad knees in training for the event. If we walk at 3mph non stop it will be 12 hours a day walking, over 100,000 steps a day, carrying all our own stuff. Gulp!

So, if you can spare a little of your hard earned cash to support a great charity and to make the blisters, backache and fatigue worthwhile, please donate below.

Also, if you would like to join us on the walk, please let me know (even if its just for part of it!)

Many thanks!

Dave, Lee, Gary, Jamie, Carl.
