The MINI Diesel Challenge by totalMINI
Hi, thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
As you may know, we are going to attempt to drive a MINI Cooper Diesel from MINI UK Headquarters in Bracknell to John O'Groats - nothing unusual there! The difference is we're going to try and make it on one tank of diesel! That's 676 miles (approx) on 40 litres of diesel!
Why are we doing this?
Well firstly, we're going to see just how economical a small modern MINI can be, but mainly, we're doing it to raise money for two fantastic charities!
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is this years chosen totalMINI Charity Ball Benefactor, and as many of you will know, we recently lost a very popular forum member and friend to Leukaemia - both these charities do fantastic work in their fields and made it very easy for us to chose who to support.
The event takes place on 31st March 2011, and we finish our journey hopefully having made it to John O'Groats on Friday 1st April.
Please give us your backing, and help us raise money for these two worthy causes.
