Lost Chord
Lost Chord is an innovative charity dedicated to promoting the well being of people who struggle to live with dementia through the power of interactive live music. Highly trained professional musicians use different intruments and styles to produce a varied programme designed to stimulate responses from people living with dementia who maybe unable to talk or communicate in any way. OUR IMPACT: Some speak for the first time in months, Those who have not spoken for some time sing all the words to familiar songs in the right order, Those with aggressive tendencies become visibly calmed by the music, Those who are confused and unable to sit for any length of time are still and listen longer than anyone thought possible, Those who normally show no reaction come to life and express themselves in music and dance. Please give generously to help the forgotten and the elderly. THANK YOU
