Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of any cancer. Pancreatic Cancer UK is determined to make a difference by providing support and information to those affected and by raising awareness and funding research. It provides advocacy for patients and families and lobbying to achieve higher priority for pancreatic cancer.

Hello everyone,thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Its bizzare to think that the London Marathon has been the cause for me to learn how to email, blog and generlly use a PC.
Right, now to the serious stuff!!
I have been lucky enough to be admitted to the london marathon 2011 to run for Pancreatic cancer.
The 2 main drivers being, as most of you know my life long inspiration"Patrick Swayze" who suffered from this desease and most recently a family member is also battling hard.
I cant describe how overwhelming the feeling is of taking part in an event that will help people suffering from such a life changing experience.
I for one have not been a natural runner at any point in my life but Im prepared to take this challenge on. I see this as a real opportunity to make that difference.
Please help as much or as little as you can and I will promise you my unconditional effort.
