Iain Rennie Hospice At Home
The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is a registered charity offering specialist and supportive care and advice for patients with cancer and other life threatening illnesses in their homes. We also aim to help the relatives and those carers close to the patient during the illness and bereavement period. The service is available 365 days a year and offers patients and carers access to on-call specialist advice and nursing visits on a 24 hour on-call basis. Our Hospice at Home service is offered to patients and families free of charge.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Virgin Money Giving page.

I will be taking part in the London Marathon on the 25th April 2010 and I will be running 26.2 miles to raise funds for The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.

"A couple of years ago, my nan was diagnosed with cancer.  Throughout the final days of her illness, it was important to her to be able to continue living at home, rather than in a hospice.  To enable her to do this, Iain Rennie nurses visited her at home each day and were on hand to offer her the palliative care she needed.  As well as providing her with this essential care, they also offered invaluable support and guidance to my grandad and the rest of our family.
As a small way of saying thank you for the help provided by The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, I am taking part in the 2010 London marathon to try and raise as much money as I can for them."
