Charities

Combat Stress Ex-Services Mental Welfare Society
Combat Stress is the leading charity specialising in the care of British Veterans who have been profoundly traumatised by harrowing experiences during their Service career.
Child Bereavement Charity
The Child Bereavement Charity (CBC) provides specialised support, information and training to all those affected when a baby or child dies, or when a child is bereaved. By learning continuously from children and parents, CBC leads the way in improving the quality of care offered by professionals to such families, both in the immediate crisis and in the time following the death of someone important in their lives. We are the UK's leading charity that educates professionals and supports families both when a child dies and when a child is bereaved.
St. Marks Hospital Foundation
St. Mark’s Hospital Foundation is the only charity supporting the work of St. Mark’s Hospital in Harrow. Set up to fund what the NHS can’t, the money we raise from the general public goes to ensure vital research, education and training goes ahead each year. With the right research, education and training we believe that all categories of bowel disease could be eliminated in the future.

Greetings and thank you for visiting the FF&P team fundraising page!

As you will no doubt be aware, 16 intrepid individuals from FF&P have put their bodies on the line for the forthcoming Royal Parks Half Marathon (that's 13.1 miles!) on 10/10/2010.

The team have elected to run for 3 Charities, the first of which being the Theo Walker Fund (www.theowalkerfund.com), which will receive 50% of all funds raised.  This is a fund established by one of FF&P's very own (Dan Walker) who is part of the running team.  For each fundraising event, Theo's Fund nominates one of 4 registered underlying charities that they like to support and in this instance, they have elected the Child Bereavement Charity.

The 2 remaining charities, namely Combat Stress and St Mark's Hospital Foundation, will each receive 25% of all funds raised.  All 3 charities do some excellent work so please visit their websites through the links provided on this page.

Through this page, you are able to make donations securely, which are quickly passed onto the benefitting charity.  Any support that you are able to offer will be very much appreciated!!

Many thanks in advance,

The Team

(Keith Wright, David Beck, Matthew Taylor, Ed Tollemache, Charlie Ward, Graeme Loding, Paula Grech, Farzana Khalil, Dan Walker, Sam Wood, Ben Tomlin, James Whittaker, Patricia Rio Sixto, Richard Milton, Ahmet Feridun and Natalya Zarytsta)
