Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and one man dies of it every hour in the UK. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK's leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. Frank's running Silverstone & Milton Keynes.
Hi, thanks for visiting my page. My time for the Silverstone Half Marathon on 11th March was 2hr 3min 24 sec. My time for the Milton Keynes Marathon on April 29th 2012 was 5hr 2min 40sec. The weather on Marathon day was absolutely appalling with heavy rain and gusting winds. I was thinking that by running with my mouth open I wouldn't need to carry any water! It was great to finish after such a gruelling run.
I ran in both events to raise money for Breast Cancer Care and The Prostate Cancer Charity. Having previously run the Edinburgh Marathon in 2010 to raise money for premature infants and research into the causes of miscarriage and still birth, I thought I would do something for the bigger girls and boys!
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
