Charity

WheelPower
Each year, many thousands of men, women and children become disabled due to an accident or illness. Many more are born with a disability which means they need to use a wheelchair. WheelPower, the national charity for wheelchair sport, provides opportunities, facilities and equipment which enable disabled people to play sport and lead healthy active lives.

Hi,

Thank you for thinking about sponsoring me.

I did it!

To celebrate my 70th birthday I cycled 870 miles from Lands End to John o' Groats starting on the 21st May 2012 finishing on the 28th May.

I think you will agree that WheelPower is a very appropriate charity for me to support - check out their website

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Wheelpower. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
