At Isabel Hospice we care for people across Eastern Hertfordshire, who suffer from life-limiting illnesses, such as cancer and who are in the terminal stage. Our ethos is to treat the whole person, not simply their illness, and to maximise the quality of life that they have in their remaining months and weeks. Last year we cared for over 2,700 patients, family members and carers, free of charge. Our care is often described as a light in the tunnel at a very dark time. To give this free care, we need to raise over £4 million each year. Of this total, £2.7 million must be raised from charitable sources. Every penny really does count. The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts is an educational charity which provides access for young people who would otherwise grow up having had no, or very limited opportunity, to engage with the arts. Through the work of The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts children learn that cultural venues are welcoming, accessible and exciting places to visit. It seeks to foster in them a lifelong love of the arts.

He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, Headteacher and friend to all of us. He was an inspiration; he loved life and gave us all many happy memories.
As a family, we have chosen two charities to donate money in his name.
The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts provides opportunities for children in disadvantaged areas to access the Arts. Geof always said that if you give children the confidence to express themselves they can achieve anything.
The Isabel Hospice in Welwyn look after Cancer patients; always with respect and a smile.
Geof left a lasting impression on everyone he met. With your kind donations, we hope to help others in his memory.
